Until quite recently there has been a dearth of information about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples' access to, participation in, and outcomes from education. This annex presents a general overview of progress made in recent years and establishes some benchmarks against which future progress can be measured. It draws together information from a number of collections, and in some cases provides information that has not previously been available. It provides a picture of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people's experiences of education from preschool to university and the transition to the labour market.
